To complete a booking, we require the following details for each passenger, including any additional passengers:
- Full Name
- Age
- Gender
- Selected Seat
We also require one booking contact's:
- Mobile Number
- Email Address
We do not collect any information that is not relevant to your booking experience or service delivery.
3. USERS OUTSIDE THE GEOGRAPHICAL LIMITS OF INDIA
Please note that your data may be processed in India and other jurisdictions where our partners operate. By using our services, you consent to this cross-border processing. If you wish to withdraw your consent, please email us at justbookinn@gmail.com. However, please note:
- Withdrawal of consent may hinder or prevent us from processing your booking.
- We may not be able to fulfill your travel request post withdrawal if essential information is no longer available to us.
4. HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
Your information is used strictly for the following purposes:
- To complete and manage your bookings
- To send booking confirmations, trip updates, and customer service communications
- To contact you for feedback, if you opt-in
- For legal and regulatory compliance
We do not use your personal information:
- For tracking or profiling you across other platforms
- For behavioral advertising or retargeting
- For sharing/selling with or to any data broker
We respect your privacy and do not mine your data for advertising or commercial exploitation.
5. USER GENERATED CONTENT (UGC)
Users may post reviews, ratings, or feedback related to their journey or bookings. Participation is voluntary. JustBookinn may publish such content to improve our services and help other users.
6. MARKETING PROMOTIONS
We may occasionally inform registered users of relevant offers, only if they have opted-in. We do not use personal data for ad-targeting or third-party promotions unless explicitly authorized by you.
You may unsubscribe at any time via the link in our emails or by emailing us directly.
7. DATA STORAGE AND RETENTION
Deleting your account removes your profile, sign-in sessions, verification codes and personal coupons. Bookings with passenger and contact details, payments, refunds and audit records are kept. Audit records can include your former name and mobile number. If your number claimed a referral, a protected record of it is kept to prevent repeat claims.
Relevant transaction records are normally kept for ten years from the order date to meet payment-provider recordkeeping requirements. Tax obligations, disputes or investigations may require a longer period. Account deletion does not erase records we still need for these purposes. Personal information kept after account deletion is not used for advertising or personalization.
Other information is kept only while needed for its purpose, security, legal obligations or resolving a claim. We review retained records before erasing them so that required evidence is preserved. 8. COOKIES AND SESSION DATA
We use cookies only to:
- Maintain your login session
- Improve platform functionality
We do not use cookies for cross-site tracking or behavioral advertising.
Our marketing website and customer web app use PostHog EU for cookieless traffic measurement. We measure page visits, referring websites, campaign tags, browser and device information, and clicks from the marketing site to booking. We also measure time on pages, scroll depth, loading speed, responsiveness and layout stability. Detailed performance attribution to page elements is disabled. This does not use your account identity, passenger details or contact details from your account or booking forms. Page addresses and referring websites can be recorded, including booking references and query parameters. On current-page addresses, the SDK masks recognized advertising identifiers and referral query values and excludes URL fragments. Referring addresses retain the details supplied by your browser, which may include query parameters. Separate search-keyword fields are excluded. Campaign tags are also recorded. Visitor counts are estimates, and visitors are not joined across the two websites or across days.
PostHog also receives application error reports to help us diagnose failures. Automatic interaction measurement is limited to clicks on marketing booking links; element text and attributes are masked. Session recordings and form capture are disabled. This traffic measurement does not use cookies or browser storage; login sessions continue to use the cookies described above.
9. WITH WHOM YOUR INFORMATION IS SHARED
Service Providers: We share only booking-relevant data (e.g., your name and contact number) with transport operators.
Vendors: Any third-party vendor interaction is strictly for service enablement. We don't allow third parties to reuse or sell your information.
Error reports: When our apps fail, they send the error, where it happened and your browser or device type to PostHog in the EU, without your IP address or a link to your account. The website uses no cookies for this; the mobile app keeps a random ID on your device.
Legal Obligations: We may share your data if required by law or to protect our legal rights.
We never sell or share your data with data brokers or any entity for advertising purposes.
10. SECURITY MEASURES
We use TLS encryption and other technical measures to safeguard your information. Access is limited to authorized personnel only.
